Ronnie handling Sally handling her Chrissie present. The Friends Xmas BBQ is a long-standing tradition initiated by Sally, and it has continued for about 8 years or so. The main problem we have had over the past four years is that it rains on the one day we choose to celebrate, even though Australia has been in drought conditions for some time. I’m not sure how many of these BBQs Ronnie has been to, but he was certainly a lifesaver at the one two years ago when I got stuck at Bronte in the pouring rain with all my hungry children.
